Terms & Conditions – Rodanthi Boats
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a boat rental with Rodanthi Rent Boat. By proceeding with a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility
No boat license is required to rent our boats.
Renters must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government-issued ID.
The designated operator must be physically and mentally capable of handling a boat safely.
2. Booking & Payment
Rentals are subject to availability and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Full payment is required on the day of the rental, unless otherwise arranged.
3. Insurance & Liability
All boats are fully insured, including third-party liability.
Insurance does not cover personal belongings, negligence, or unauthorized use.
Renters are liable for damages caused by improper handling, reckless behavior, or violation of guidelines.
In case of loss or serious damage, repair or replacement costs may be charged.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure are non-refundable.
Cancellations due to weather conditions (based on Windguru Pro or Windy Premium) are fully refundable or rescheduled at no extra cost.
5. Safety Briefing & Responsibilities
Before departure, a 15-minute mandatory safety briefing and boat handling session is provided.
Renters must follow:
Navigation boundaries (from Vathi Beach to Agios Pavlos, or beyond with prior approval).
Local marine traffic laws and protected zones.
Guidelines for approaching beaches, anchoring, and emergency procedures.
A mobile phone with GPS must be carried onboard at all times for communication.
6. Use & Restrictions
Maximum passenger limits must be respected (as per each boat’s specifications).
Alcohol consumption is not permitted for the designated operator.
Boats may not be used for:
Towing other vessels or objects
Operating after dark
Entering dangerous or off-limit zones
7. Equipment Provided
Each rental includes:
Full safety equipment (life jackets, paddles, anchor, etc.)
Sun tent, Bluetooth speakers, pillowed deck
Cooler with crackers and water (free of charge)
Optional extras at an additional fee:
GoPro Hero 13 Black with underwater gear
Premium cooler with lunchbox
Towels
8. Late Return Policy
Boats must be returned by the agreed-upon time.
Delays over 15 minutes may be charged €20 per additional 30 minutes, unless due to verified emergencies.
9. Weather Conditions
Rodanthi Rent Boat reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings based on weather conditions.
Wind, wave height, and visibility are monitored via Windguru Pro and Windy Premium.
No fees apply if a cancellation is made by our team for safety reasons.
10. Environmental Responsibility
Renters are expected to treat the marine environment with care.
Do not throw trash overboard.
Avoid anchoring on fragile seabeds (e.g., Posidonia).
Respect wildlife and fellow visitors on beaches.
11. Personal Belongings
Rodanthi Rent Boat is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items during your rental. Please store valuables securely.
12. Photography & Promotion
With your consent, we may use non-identifiable images taken during your trip for promotional purposes on our website and social media.
13. Acceptance of Risk
All renters and passengers acknowledge that boating carries inherent risks and agree to participate at their own risk.
